Very many congratulations to Natasha Connellan and her friend Adrian Flack, who on Sunday 14 August ran the Isle of Man marathon to raise money for the Centre.
Stunning scenery and a challenging route awaited those who entered.
As in previous years the gruelling race was run over the Manx Northern course.
Starting in Ramsey the brave contestants headed along Mooragh Promenade past the site of the former Grand Island hotel and on to Bride. From there to Andreas and St Judes before turning back towards Ramsey.
And then, as that was only HALF a marathon, they had to run it all again (!) before finishing at the stadium – in just under four and a half hours!!
Natasha, who’s mother Breda attends the Centre weekly for physiotherapy, has so far raised an impressive £1,636.37!!
Well done Natasha and Adrian!
