Summer Fair at Harrow College raises £1300

This year’s Summer Fair held at Harrow College has raised £1299.70 for Harrow MS Therapy Centre.

The Harrow Observer featured a full-page splash of the Fair, with some great photos from the day.

We were blessed with warm sun the whole day, and visitors young and old enjoyed the mix of traditional games and activities on offer (“Break the Plates” proved to be a smash hit!). Also very popular were the delicious treats on offer at the cake stall and the barbecue, and the manicures courtesy of Image Salon, part of the hair and beauty department at Harrow College which also recently held its own fundraising pamper day.

This means that in the space of less than a month, Harrow College has helped to raise £2600 towards the running of our Centre. We are extremely grateful to the college and its dedicated staff for their continued support.

The results of the prize draw were also announced at the Fair, with top prize of a holiday at Ellwood Cottages being won by one of our very own members.

Thank you to all who joined the fun of the Fair, as well as the generous volunteers who gave up their valuable time to help set up and run the day so smoothly!
