This year’s Spring Quiz Supper was a fantastic success, with eight teams of quizzers managing to raise £1,375.

Everyone enjoyed a classic fish and chip supper as team members got acquainted while pondering the “Marathon Round” warm-up questions at the packed Pinner Village Hall.

But once the first round began, it was eyes down as quiz-masters Mark and Cris took us through nine rounds of excellently-balanced questions on many and varied subjects, including Film & Entertainment, Music,  Geography, History, (Very) Current Affairs, and more.

The interval fundraiser raised a healthy £210 in little under 10 minutes, thanks to the further generosity of the quiz participants.

Congratulations to the winning team, who won the coveted packets of Smarties, and commiserations to the last-placed team, who left clutching a bag of lemons!

Cris carefully scores the sports round, while Mark keeps an eye on the photographer.

We’d like to thank everyone who attended and created such a warm atmosphere on the night, with a special thanks to those who helped us put away the chairs and tables at the end of the evening.

And of course, thank you to Mark and Cris for once again putting together a fun quiz evening. We’re looking forward to the next one already.
